Yung Lean, many call him an outsider to rap, but to others he is King of the Sad Boys. Yung Lean is a rapper from Stockholm, Sweden. He gained a following from his song “Kyoto” which is dubbed by The Fader to be Yung Lean's breakthrough track and his most popular song. Yung Lean took over Irving Plaza on Feb. 17th with his Sad Boys crew and showed New York his “cloud rap” with a bizarre aesthetic. The audience screamed chants “Sad Boys” as Lean and his crew took the stage with a bloody performance. Yung Lean proved to New York that he is a force to be reckoned with.
